About Me

I have been a professional conference interpreter and translator since 2006.

I’ve always dreamed of becoming a conference interpreter. There was never a plan B or C in my books.

Low and behold, I’ve been interpreting as well as translating between Turkish and English since 2007 and counting…

Yes, the road hasn’t been an easy one… millions of pages translated, relentlessly, often times pulling all nighters… (150+ assignment days each year, on average). Regardless, I adore every moment!

I couldn’t agree more with whoever it was who first said: “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life…”

How’d I describe myself?

Attentive to minute (and sometimes trivial) details, hardworking, as flexible as a rubber band, and a lifelong student!

What do I specialize in, field-wise?

International relations, IT, arbitration, agriculture, technology, business.

How do I spend my free time?

Reading, learning about history, traveling, and discovering good food.

So, let’s connect to see what opportunities lie ahead!
